U13 Netball Regional Champions

Our U13A team travelled to Uppingham School for the Regional IAPS netball tournament. Our girls started strong in their first group stage match against Heath Mount School, winning 16 - 1. They went on to win 14 - 0 against St. Peter’s School. In the final group stage match, Bromsgrove scored an impressive 20 goals in 14 minutes to win 20 - 3. An achievement that was mentioned by the Headmaster in his presentation speech.

In the quarter finals, we were up against Winterfold, and we needed to win this match to get through to the National finals. The girls played superbly to win 16 - 2 and were through to the semi-finals against Spratton Hall. This was the girls’ toughest match so far but Bromsgrove found their rhythm to win 11 - 5.

In the final against St Hugh’s School, the girls played their best netball of the day to win the Regional title 15 - 3.

The girls amassed an impressive 92 goals and only conceded 14 in their six matches played. Huge congratulations to all of the girls who played and we look forward to playing in the National Finals held on Monday 14th March at Ipswich School.
