National Swimming Finals

Huge congratulations to all of our Prep girls and boys who qualified through to the IAPS National swimming finals held at the prestigious Olympic Aquatics Centre in London.

The pupils have been working very hard to prepare for these races and we are exceptionally proud of their performances.

Rory T came 19th in the U10 25m freestyle and Caitlin P came 17th in the 50m back crawl. Swimmers who reached a place in the final and received a national ranking were:

Aaliyah J came 10th in the U10 25m freestyle, Evie B placed 9th in the U12 50m back crawl, Harry H also came 9th in the U12 50m back crawl. Iseoluwa O narrowly missed out on a place in the top three coming 4th in the 50m freestyle.

Finally, our two pupils who achieved an impressive podium finish and received medals were Sophia B 3rd in the U13 50m butterfly and Ella C who became IAPS National Champion in the U12 50m freestyle, which is an incredible achievement.
