Dear Oakley Parents and Guardians,

We are now into our third week of the term and, sniffles and colds aside, all is well. We have been blessed with more sunshine than rain which is definitely helping.




Social evenings for new students have commenced. The L4 enjoyed a pizza night with Miss Farrell on Saturday before a trip to Alton Towers this weekend and our Vth and VIth formers took part in a scavenger hunt during their social last weekend:

  

 


The highlight of the term so far has been the announcement that two Oakley girls have accepted leadership roles within the School. Our congratulations go to Rafaela who is now Deputy Head Girl and Chantal who is Senior Boarder. We know they will do an excellent job in serving our community and we could not be prouder:




To see the School back to its usual routines and traditions has been a pleasure. The weekly Chapel services have been a particular highlight:




With the launch of this year’s House Song today in Routh Assembly, the next few weeks promise to be anything but quiet in Oakley House!
