BLOG 4 - A new delivery for the Grounds Department

On Monday 14th October 2013, a new tractor and verti-drain was delivered to the Grounds Department.

The School has always used contractors to do the verti-draining in the past, so owning our own machine gives the option to carry out this vital grounds care task when the conditions are right and as regular as we desire.

The new tractor is more powerful (with 42hp) than anything we have used in the past, meaning we will be able to carry out tasks in-house. It will also prove useful during the winter months as the tractor is also equipped with a loader bucket which can also be changed into a snow plough.
