The Pierglass

The Pierglass

Posted: 31/10/2017

Due to the inclement weather and road safety concerns, the Senior School performance of The Pierglass on Friday, 8th December has been cancelled.

The award-winning comedy about an eccentric group of Victorian Theatricals opens our magnificent new Theatre at Bromsgrove School.

It’s 1865. The outrageous Orlando Ballyvicks – actor, manager, theatrical maestro – finds himself and his actors in a sleepy provincial backwater where anything resembling a play is frowned upon. In a single week of performances however, not only do the lives of the local inhabitants of the village come strangely to resemble the Dramas onstage, but for one particular resident, life will never be the same again…

Will Charlotte escape from the clutches of her stepmother?
Will Ralph remember his lines for Romeo?
Will Robina Leers get her just desserts?
Will Mr Nevergedditt ever get on stage?

Performances are at 7.00pm on Wednesday 6th to Saturday 9th December 2017.
