International Uni Snapshots

Three snapshots of current Upper Sixth who have gained International university offers and awards this term:

Mikael Perreau (Senior Assistant Director of Admissions at New York University) visits Bromsgrove regularly to support our US applications process and was delighted to see Danny G again at our latest International Fair to congratulate him on his offer and academic scholarship to NYU Abu Dhabi.

Danny attended the candidate weekend at the beginning of the year at NYU Abu Dhabi and was so successful he was offered an academic scholarship. Well done Danny.



We are delighted to announce that Head Girl, Olivia B, has been awarded the International Leader of Tomorrow Award. This recognises international undergraduate students who demonstrate superior academic achievement, leadership skills, involvement in student affairs and community service, recognizsd achievement in fields of endeavour such as the performing arts, sports, debating or creative writing, or external academic competitions and examinations.

Tom Whittaker, the United Kingdom representative for UBC, was delighted to meet up with Olivia again at our latest International Fair to congratulate her on her success. Old Bromsgrovian Ellie Ball, who is also an ILOT award holder, was at School to help with our international Fair and discuss her experiences studying abroad with the Lower Sixth and importantly to celebrate with Olivia. To have one ILOT award holder is exceptionally rare but to have two Bromsgrovians achieve this is outstanding. Well done to Olivia.



Working with Ben Smith and Rob Thomas at Sporting Elite, pupil Candy L was offered three excellent scholarships this year and has chosen to sign with The University of Mount Olive ‘Trojans’ Track and Field Team.

On her visit to the University she met with Coach Potter, students and staff and was really impressed with all that was on offer and the support for her future training and university studies. An excellent outcome for a superb athlete.
