Famous Five topic

As part of their 'Famous Five' topic this term, Year 2 have been studying Her Majesty The Queen and last Friday put on a fantastic Royal Variety Performance. Pre-Prep were thoroughly entertained by the talented children of Year 2 who performed music, dance, magic, comedy, poetry and sporting skills.



Jamie Oliver is the third of their 'Famous Five' role models and Year 2 have learnt about his 'Feed Me Better' campaign to promote healthy eating. Who better to reinforce this message than our own Bromsgrove Chef, who gave an informative presentation, which included measuring out the sugar content in fizzy drinks and allowing the children to sample a healthy fruit juice alternative.

With Shrove Tuesday next week, there was also a pancake making demonstration with delicious pancakes for all of the children to enjoy with healthy toppings.
