Pre-Preparatory Instrumental Lessons

During the early years, all pupils are encouraged to enjoy and learn about music. Below are just some of the initiatives that take place for Pre-Prep pupils.

Fife lessons are available after school for Year 2 pupils and provide an excellent and fun way to start learning a musical instrument. Instruments and books are provided and the group play ensemble pieces in assembly.

Following on from a very successful after school violin group initiative we started in September 2012, there are now several pupils who have continued their violin studies into the Prep School.

Currently there are violin group lessons for Year 1 and Year 2 pupils given by Mrs Price and Ms Swadling. Early application is recommended as there has been great interest in subscribing to these classes.
