A Welcome from the Headmaster & the Chairman

As you look at this page you find Bromsgrove School in good heart, with an energetic and lively body of students and staff - achieving great things, both academically and socially. We are rightly proud of our pupils, of what they accomplish whilst they are here, and of the men and women they become as they leave. Bromsgrove School has been a beacon of excellence for approaching 500 years, with a fine reputation for developing a child to his or her potential. This is as true today as it has always been, and it is incumbent upon us, as current Bromsgrovians, to maintain this outstanding track record.

Our Foundation, established in 2007, exists to do two things.

·          Firstly to act as an invisible umbrella to encompass leavers' and their parents' wishes to remain in contact with Bromsgrove School. We will endeavour, alongside The Bromsgrovian Club, to keep in touch with you and update you on activities within School, and also to arrange and support alumni events for you. You will read more about these events on the pages that follow, and we look forward to welcoming you to them.

·          Secondly, to encourage the example of giving set by past benefactors to the School amongst the current generation of Bromsgrovians. Every past and present pupil has benefited from their support, we salute them and commend to you our plans to continue the tradition of supporting future Bromsgrovians.

The Foundation will increase the number of places at Bromsgrove for as many children as possible, who would not otherwise be able to join the School, by fundraising to provide bursaries & scholarships. This is our key fundraising mission. From time to time, we will also seek funds to undertake capital projects to ensure that the splendid setting we all enjoy here is truly meeting the needs of 21st century pupils.

We trust you will find the commitment of the Foundation to building strong relationships across the international Bromsgrovian community exciting, and its determination to uphold and enhance the philanthropic Bromsgrove custom of reaching out to support worthy students heartening.
