On Monday, 6JT and 6LC visited Bromsgrove town centre as part of
their ‘Exploring our Local Area and Region’ topic. They made field observations to investigate whether Bromsgrove is ‘a place fit for people’. Once in the High Street, pupils conducted some short surveys with members of the public to find out other people’s views on whether they feel that Bromsgrove is a good place to live. Several members of the public approached the teachers to say how wonderfully polite and well-mannered our pupils were.
Finally, the group visited the Heritage Centre and explored the historical links between Bromsgrove School and the local community. They even got to visit the old tunnel that pupils used to use on their journey to and from School. Next lesson they will analyse the data collected to make some conclusions.
