Year 4 Vikings

Following on from learning about Viking diets and how farming was so important for survival and trade, Year 4 pupils were captivated when they found out they were being treated to a Viking Feast ‘taster menu’.

Some of the delectable treats on offer included goat's cheese, smoked fish, a variety of breads, oatcakes and a large selection of berries with honey. The teachers were very impressed by the number of children willing to taste certain foods for the very first time. Most of them were pleasantly surprised to find they enjoyed the different foods on offer.
