Star Gazing

Prep School pupils came into School buzzing on Wednesday morning having spent an evening with Mr Turner and Mrs Lally in the Observatory as part of their Astronomy Activity.

The photos taken of Jupiter and Saturn, as well as of Andromeda Galaxy, are magnificent – and those were not a patch on the stunning views that were experienced through the telescope.

We are fortunate to have an observatory on our site, donated by Old Bromsgrovian Matthew Taylor, as well as an enthusiast on our staff. No doubt his enthusiasm will rub off on the pupils who are looking forward to their next astronomical experience.
