Intrepid Explorers

Posted: 11/02/2019

Year 1 became intrepid explorers as they imagined they were climbing Mount Everest.

The children showed courage, strength and perseverance to reach new heights, cheered on by their friends. During the morning they enjoyed a range of travel-themed activities, including performing a dance using the prayer flags brought back from Mount Everest Base Camp by Mr Airston. The children arrived safely back from the summit of Everest (Clip ‘n’ Climb) exhausted but elated.

They are now looking forward to the next adventure in their Voyages of Discovery topic.
