IAPS Hockey

On Thursday, the U13A girls' hockey team travelled to Nottingham Hockey Centre to play in the IAPS Hockey Regional Finals.

Bromsgrove played St Olaves in their first game and narrowly lost 3-1. The girls then faced a very strong Dean Close side, and despite their best efforts lost 5-0. Bromsgrove played some of their best hockey in their third game against Foremarke Hall but the match ended in a 3-0 loss. The girls battled hard against Wellingborough but unfortunately conceded a goal in the last minute to lose 1-0.

Bromsgrove demonstrated great determination and team spirit to beat Spratton Hall 2-1 in their penultimate group game. The girls finished on a high with a 1-0 win in a very close match against The Elms.

Well done to all the girls who finished in a credible fifth place out of seven teams in their group, narrowly missing out on a place in the plate quarter-finals.
