On Monday, 21st June, Bromsgrove's U13A cricket team hosted King’s Worcester in the county final. This took place on the Ormerod square at Prep School.

King’s batted first and scored 134/6 in their twenty-five overs. Our pick of the bowlers were Bharath P with three wickets in his five over spell which included a maiden over. Flynn T-D bowled well and took two wickets in his five overs which included two wicket maidens. Alfie H also bowled well and took a wicket. In reply, Bromsgrove made a fantastic start with captain William B and Alfie H establishing an excellent first wicket stand of 78 runs. Alfie went on to be the main stay of the innings and was our man of the match. He finished on 64 runs. William H scored two superb sixes and finished on seventeen runs not out and was at Flynn T-D hit the winning runs with a lovely boundary with only three balls remaining/ Well done to all the players on being crowned county champions.

The previous week, our U15A team were also crowned County Champions. A fantastic result all round.
