Dear Oakley Parents and Guardians
Starting with sporting news this week, it was fantastic to hear that Jess in U4 has been selected to play with the England U19 squad. An outstanding achievement for such a young player:
Well done to our L4 Badminton teams for their sterling efforts in the recent House Badminton competition. Well done to Raine, Alvina, Nikki and Ibukun:
The girls enjoyed not having to walk too far to breakfast last week and had a small lie-in to share House breakfast together:
And it was the turn of the L4 to visit the woods a roast marshmallows and make smores at the end of another busy week:
We were very lucky with the weather on Wednesday when the L4 completed their Malvern Walk as part of their Bromsgrove Badge. A 10 mile trek in stunning Worcestershire countryside. An excellent preparation for their future Duke of Edinburgh endeavours.
And as I write this update, the sun is still shining in Bromsgrove. Most of Oakley have gone shopping in Birmingham today so back at base camp we’ve been relaxing with pebble painting and a juice bar:
Best wishes
Victoria Adams
