Walters PA

Welcome to the Walters Parents’ Association home page

The PA organises social events throughout the school year to provide additional resources and social activities for Walters’ boys and their families. The events also provide a chance for parents to meet socially.   The Walters PA meets at least once each term and arranges at least one event per term.  We are a friendly bunch and cover most year groups in the house. We really want to make sure that parents from all year groups feel they can get involved in the PA.  Everyone is welcome to attend the PA meetings and it’s fine to come along as little or often as you are able.

The PA manages some of the PA funds collected from parents through the invoice, supplemented by money raised at some house social events. Our regular purchases and expenditure include leavers’ gifts, pool table repairs and subsidising house events. One-off purchases have recently included a new flat screen TV and newspaper/magazine subscriptions.  We are in the process of buying sports kit for the boys for House sporting fixtures and will use PA funds for this purpose.

Walters PA liaison representatives are also members of the Bromsgrove Parents’ Association in which all houses are involved. Once per term they attend PA liaison meetings with the Headmaster, Deputy Headmaster and other senior staff and present items of general parental concern raised by parents.
