Rugby has a noble history at Bromsgrove School, with our annual fixture against K.E.S Birmingham perhaps the most venerable school fixture in England at over 150 years old. Although tradition plays a part, current performance has to be the benchmark. With outstanding facilities and quality coaching, Bromsgrove School has produced 29 International Rugby representatives since 1998. These include Andrew Goode of Leicester Tigers and England to young hopefuls such as Ben Foden of Sale Sharks and the Senior England National Academy, and Matthew Mullan of Worcester Warriors and the Junior England National Academy. Bromsgrove School often provides the majority of squad members at both county and regional sides at U14, U16 and U18 age group levels.
At Bromsgrove School we pride ourselves with providing rugby for all abilities, allowing all to achieve and progress; indeed we run three teams at all age groups. But we unashamedly strive for excellence, and this can be seen through our extremely competitive fixture list which includes schools such as Harrow, Marlborough College, Millfield, RGS High Wycombe, Oakham and Uppingham
