Athletics is a very popular sport, alongside cricket and tennis, throughout the School in the summer term. Over 100 boys and girls regularly represent Bromsgrove in fixtures across senior, intermediate and junior levels. In addition to School matches, Bromsgrove has a strong reputation across the Midlands and indeed nationally in this sport,  frequently enjoying outstanding seasons after attending high quality meetings (quadrangular and even larger). After such meetings, many pupils qualify to represent Worcestershire at the English Schools Championships where may have enjoyed further success. Sports Day is the highlight of the season internally, and annually produces new school records.
