Safer Internet Day

Safer Internet Day

Posted: 09/02/2016

It's Safer Internet Day today - what can you do to make the internet safer? ?Tweet us @BromsSchool using the hashtags #‎Iplaymypart? or ?#‎playyourpart?.

Here are some of the ways our pupils will be taking part this week:

1. The internet is not always safe, be careful!

2. I’m going to delete friends that I don’t know personally.

3. Advise people to be responsible on the internet and don’t use any abusive words - be a role model instead.

4. Advise people that they should be aware of what they are putting on the internet as anyone in the world could access it.

5. Prevent surrounding people from uploading unsuitable content.

6. Don’t try to assume that relationships online are real and will last, in the end only your self will get hurt.

7. Strangers can be emotionless towards you, no matter who you are…

8. It’s an unsafe cyber world out there therefore think before you share.

9. During this week I am going to change my settings on my account so that only friends can see the data on there.
