IAPS Regional Netball

Earlier today, the U13 and U12 netball teams travelled to Uppingham for the IAPS Regional netball competition.

The U12 team played a round robin tournament with six other schools. The girls all played superbly and did not lose a game all afternoon to be crowned IAPS Regional Champions.

The U13s were in one section of four groups. They came runners up in their group to make it through to the quarter finals against Kings Ely who were winners of section E. Bromsgrove played some brilliant netball to win 14 - 7 and went through to the semi-finals against Spratton Hall. Again they worked well as a team to secure the victory 13 - 5 and a place in the final against St Olaves (as well as already being through to National Finals).

In the final, the girls were down 7 - 2 and unfortunately couldn't recover in the second half, eventually losing 16 - 5. However, the team should be extremely proud of their regional runners up silver medals and we now look forward to taking both teams to the National Finals in Essex this coming Friday.
