Drumming Workshop

Year 2 enjoyed a fantastic African drumming workshop as the “Marvellous Middle” for their Out of Africa topic yesterday. They played authentic African instruments including the distinctive Djembe drums and the big Djun Djun bass drums.

All of the children learned traditional rhythms and techniques and created a stunning piece of music as a finale.
