District Cross-Country

On Tuesday, 5th December, Bromsgrove hosted the District cross country round for Years 5-8.



Well done to the following boys:

Oliver D (Year 5) 1st, William P (Year 6) 2nd, Tom F (Year 6) 4th, James H (Year 6) 5th, Jack Barnett (Year 6) 8th, Rohan A (Year 7) 2nd, Lucas I (Year 7) 3rd, Fin Dinnen (Year 7) 6th, Oscar B (Year 7) 9th, Toby L (Year 7) 10th, Sebastian P (Year 8) 1st, Henry J (Year 8) 3rd, Callum W (Year 8) 6th, Jack W (Year 8) 7th and William H (Year 8) 12th.

The above Year 8 boys have been selected to represent the District U15 team at the Herefordshire and Worcestershire County Championships on Saturday 20th January2018. In addition, our Year 8 boys were crowned District U15 Champions.

Our Years 5 girls ran exceptionally well for their first time around the course and the positions were as follows:

Tilly W 7th, Megs H 11th, Jessica F 13th, Phoebe D 25th, Ruby F 27th, Lauren W 29th and Abigail L 30th.

In the Year 6 race, Scarlet P came in 2nd overall, Teah P 5th, Honey Bo L 6th, Elizabeth S 14th , Lily M 18th and Isabelle K 18th.

In Year 7, Ella K came 4th, Charlotte J 5th, Emelia M 7th, Freya L 14th, Katherine S 17th, Sophia S 27th, Harriet O 28th, Emma D 31st, Emily D 32nd and Libby R 41st.

In the Year 8 race, Ella K C came 4th, Abigail B 5th, Louise O 6th and Sophia M 8th. Those top four runners were then selected to compete in the County round which is a significant achievement given they were running against Year 9 pupils. Well done also to Jemima V-H and Angelina S who came 17th and 22nd respectively.
