Bromsgrove Service Project

Alexandra and Millie from Thomas Cookes House were invited to an Awards Ceremony with the Charity, Socks and Chocs. The charity was awarded The Queens Award for voluntary service, the highest award that a charity can obtain (equivalent to an MBE).

The award was presented by Deputy Lieutenant for Worcestershire, Angela Brinton at the Guild Hall in Worcester. The girls were congratulated for their fundraising over the summer holidays, as part of a project for Bromsgrove Service.

Both Alexandra and Millie were interviewed for ITV Central News, which will be aired on Thursday 19th October at 6.00pm.
