Bromsgrove School

Senior & Preparatory 7-18

Pupils may gain admission to Bromsgrove School in any year group. Our main intake is at Kindergarten, 7+, 11+, 13+ and 16+. Admissions in the course of an academic year are by special arrangement with the Assistant Head (Admissions). Parents and children are encouraged to visit the school. This can either be on an Open Day or for an individual informal visit. Please contact Amanda James to organise an individual visit.

Parents seeking the admission of their sons or daughters are asked to complete the appropriate application form which can be found within our admissions information pack, alternatively, please do not hesitate to contact our Admissions Co-ordinators on 01527 579679 or email who can send you relevant information.

In the case of girls and boys entering the Sixth Form from other British schools, admission is based on interview and GCSE results.

All other candidates sit our entrance examinations although at 13+ we do accept Common Entrance.

When a place is offered to an applicant; parents are asked to confirm acceptance and to send an acceptance fee.

We encourage taster days for boarders and day pupils.

Common Entrance
Candidates wishing to apply to the school via the Common Entrance Examination at 13+ will also be considered. Please ensure the student is formally registered. Further details are available from the candidate’s own school.

All tuition fees are payable in advance within seven days of the start of each term. Parents wishing to withdraw a boy or girl for any reason must give a full term’s notice in writing to the Headmaster; otherwise a full term’s fees are payable.

Bromsgrove School Admissions Policy is published in the document library.
