Welcome to the Oakley Parents’ Association Home Page.

The PA organises social events throughout the school year to provide fun for the girls and to help foster a family atmosphere in the house. The events also provide a chance for the parents to meet socially if they are in the vicinity !

The Oakley PA meets in the house at least once each term and arranges at least one event per term.

The PA manages some of the PA funds collected from parents through the invoice, supplemented by money raised at some house social events. Our regular purchases and expenditure include leavers’ gifts, piano tuning and subsidising house events. One-off purchases have recently included a contribution towards a 47” LCD TV, toasters and beanbags for the common areas.

Oakley PA Liaison representatives are also members of the Bromsgrove Parents’ Association in which all houses are involved. Once per term they attend PA Liaison meetings with the Headmaster, Deputy Headmaster and other Senior Staff and present items of general parental concern raised by parents. The timing of PA Liaison meetings is advertised in the Bromsgrove White Book and the weekly Newsletter. If you would like to put forward any items for PA Liaison meetings, please contact the House Mistress or the PA Liaison Representatives.
