Congratulations to James Freeman who played for England Under 18 rugby team at the European tournament in Treviso Italy.

Swimming
Dan Ruckwood was one of the few 15 year olds to qualify to swim at the Olympic Trials at the end of March where he set personal best times in all his events. It was a great learning experience for Dan to be competing against the best male swimmers in the country and his coach was very pleased with how Dan coped with the pressure of such a big occasion. Dan now has been picked to be on the prestigious “Target 2012 squad” where he is one of the youngest swimming squad members to be included.

Hockey
The U16 boys continued their dazzling progress in the National Outdoor Hockey Cup Competition. After thier tremendous win in the North-East in the quarter-final in March, they played at home against Langley Park School, Herts, in the semis. They enjoyed a hard fought win in a thrilling match. The score at the final whistle was 4-4 penalties followed where our team triumphed 4-2.
