Bromsgrove School Show Garden takes shape

Battling the elements and mud, pupils from the Senior school and Pre-Prep made excellent progress on the Bromsgrove School show garden this week.

The teaching area was laid, the pond dug, willow fencing erected and planting was started. The Senior pupils led the younger students in the tasks and it was a joy to watch the enthusiasm of all involved. The whole site was a hive of activity and a real insight for the students into the build up of an event of this scale.

The garden is really taking shape now and is the culmination of work from so many areas of the school. The hexagonal planters constructed from DT received many compliments today and looked stunning when filled with our home grown plants, we were very proud to say to onlookers that they were all the work of our students.
