Barcelona Trip for Year 8 pupils
Twenty-three Year 8 pupils started their Easter holiday with a fun and Educational tour to Barcelona. The objective was to bring their studies of both Spanish and Art to life and to make everything they learn more real. The children had a brilliant time and it is amazing how much we managed to pack into such a short time.
The party visited the old city of Girona, Figueres and the Dali Museum, Barcelona itself with the Gaudi Park and the Sagrada Familia and even had time for a walking tour and some shopping on Las Ramblas. The pupils themselves were a delight to be with and behaved impeccably. They were a credit to their parents and the School. There were lots of very positive comments from other guests at the hotel about their lovely behaviour and the Spanish guests in particular were hugely impressed by our pupils’ willingness to engage in conversation...in Spanish!
